A large and fine Satsuma ceramic censer and its cover, of tripod form, measuring circa 33,5cm inheight and weighing 2450g, exquisitely painted in pastel enamels and abundant gold to depict a scene with children playing at a fish bowl on one side, two Zen archers on the other side, amongst geometric shaped patterns. Very fine work, Meiji period. Not marked.
Condition: Repairs to body and lid, see pictures.
