Crucifix - Wood, Plaster - 1880-1920 - 49 cm

Elegant chapel crucifix, made between the late 19th and early 20th centuries (circa 1880–1915), in neogothic ecclesiastical style.
The structure is wooden with rich decorative pierced appliqués and gilding, enhanced by polychrome floral motifs on a dark background. In the center there is a figure of Christ in polychrome plaster, finely modeled, with realistic anatomical details and traces of original patina.
The cross features a central gilded rayed design and a upper modeled INRI cartouche. At the base is the Agnus Dei, a traditional Christological symbol.
Excellent general condition for its age.
Normal signs of wear and small dorature wear.
