Decorative ornament - Japan - Ceramic Rabbit

This is a ceramic rabbit figurine created by Japanese sculptor Sotaro Saegusa. The figurine depicts a reclining rabbit with a rounded body and ears close to its back. The rabbit is entirely covered in white glaze, dotted with fine, even gray spots, giving it a warm and soft texture. It measures approximately 10 centimeters in length. The figurine comes with its original light-colored wooden box, inscribed in ink with "Reiwa 5 (Year of the Rabbit)" and "Made by Nichien sculptor Sotaro Saegusa," and stamped with a red seal. It also comes with a dark brown wooden display base with an oval brand label. This figurine is in mint condition; the ceramic body, wooden box, and base are all in excellent condition, without any signs of wear.
