Brass pig figurine by Japanese artist Saegusa Sotaro (1911-2006), in Art Deco style, cast brass with a rustic dark gold patina, measuring 8 cm high and 13 cm wide, issued in Japan and supplied with the original box and black display base in excellent condition.

This is a bronze casting by Japanese artist Sansho Somataro, complete with its original box and black display base.
The main body of the piece is cast in bronze, with a rustic, dark gold sheen and natural signs of oxidation. It is a stylized profile of a pig's head, with a prominent snout, large ears, and mane rendered with simple, incised lines. The piece rests securely on a rectangular, lacquered black base. The piece is approximately 10 cm long and 8 cm high. The surface shows even signs of use, and the overall condition is good. The work comes with its original brown cardboard box, labeled with the character "亥" (hai) written in calligraphy, along with the artist's signature and red seal, indicating the subject and artist of the work.
