Es un cartel luminoso formado por las letras BAR en gran formato, procedente de la estética comercial de los años 80 y 90, cuando los rótulos volumétricos con iluminación interior eran habituales en bares, pubs y locales de ocio. Cada letra está construida en un material rígido —normalmente metal ligero o plástico grueso— y presenta un acabado en tonos degradados entre rosa y naranja, un recurso cromático muy característico de aquella época, pensado para destacar incluso en ambientes con poca luz.

Las letras son de tamaño considerable, con la B alcanzando unos 52 cm de altura, lo que confirma que se trata de un rótulo diseñado para ser visto desde cierta distancia. Conservan los orificios y el cableado propios de los sistemas de iluminación tradicionales, basados en bombillas o pequeñas lámparas interiores, anteriores a la generalización del LED. El desgaste visible en la superficie y los pequeños arañazos refuerzan su carácter auténtico y su uso previo en un entorno comercial.

El conjunto necesita una revisión eléctrica, ya que el sistema de iluminación muestra signos de envejecimiento y requiere ajustes o sustitución para volver a funcionar con seguridad. Aun así, la estructura se mantiene sólida y conserva su atractivo como pieza decorativa vintage. Puede restaurarse para recuperar su función original o utilizarse tal cual como elemento decorativo en interiores de estilo industrial, retro o ecléctico.
