Van Hoytema - Kalenderbladen 1904-1911

Theo van Hoytema (1863-1917) produced calendars in color lithography from 1901 to 1917. These form the most extensive part of his applied art and made him known and beloved by a wide audience. He published them himself until 1909.

Each sheet was lithographed by Van Hoytema himself in a multi-color print; he signed with his monogram TvH on the right or bottom left of the large image. Because the sheets were never exposed to daylight, the original colors have been preserved.
