Rare copy of the Code Napoléon (Civil Code of the French) dated 1807. This year is historically significant because it is on this date that the Civil Code officially takes the name of the Emperor.
This "New Edition" is in line with the original edition of the Imperial Printing House. It was printed in Paris by the famous Frères Mame, using the Herhan stereotype process.
