On offer is a fine full sized master violin, labeled: "Giuseppe Lecchi allievo di Cesare Candi fece in Genova 1958 GBL Lecchi Giuseppe". Back length (excluding bottom of neck): 358 mm. Total length: 590 mm. The width of the upper bouts: 169 mm; middle bouts: 113 mm; lower bouts: 209 mm. The instrument is ready to play with a small repaired crack from right f-hole upwards, old good ebony set up and new bridge. The violin has two pieces back made from beautiful narrow flamed maple with matched sides, neck and scroll; the table is likewise matching of high quality, of straight high grained spruce.
