A medium-sized figure about 40 cm tall, depicting a Trappist.
Made in Germany circa 1950

This wooden statue portrays a smiling monk, often referred to as a Trappist or Brother Conrad. Such figures are often associated with the Oberammergau region in Germany, known for its tradition of wood carving.
Today it is commonly placed in a man cave or outdoor kitchen. Beer enthusiasts will surely appreciate the statue.

Symbolism: The monk is depicted holding a beer stein or wine jug in one hand and keys on his belt, referring to his role as cellar master or brewer.

Material: These figures are usually hand-carved from woods such as limewood.
