A 2022 bottling of the Dalmore 15 Year Old, widely considered the epitome of the distillery's luxurious house style. This Highland single malt undergoes a complex maturation process, starting with twelve years in American white oak ex-bourbon casks. The spirit is then finished for an additional three years in a unique 'trio' of sherry woods: Apostoles, Amoroso, and Matusalem Oloroso from the renowned González Byass bodega. Bottled at 40% ABV, it is a rich, smooth, and indulgent expression of the master distiller's art.
Nose: Decadent and aromatic with notes of orange marmalade, cinnamon, and grated nutmeg, layered over a base of soft vanilla and honey.
Palate: A silky and full-bodied texture delivering flavors of juicy mandarins, vanilla custard, ginger spice, and crushed apples.
Finish: Long and warming with lingering notes of caramelized orange and rich dark chocolate.
