Rare and unusual pair of tall-spired goblets.
Of English origin from the second half of the eighteenth century.
In blown, cut, engraved and gilded glass.
Stems of tubular shape, internally decorated with spirals in white tones, topped by inverted bell-shaped cups, richly decorated with carved vegetal garlands, intercalated by vertical bands ending in tassels, crowned by pearl-like spheres interspersed with stylized vegetal motifs, flanked by concentric gold bands, resting on crimped circular bases.
They show signs of use, small wear on the gold and small flaws on the interior of the cup edge and on the base.
