Description from the seller
The desk set shown is a fascinating collection of vintage items, dating from a period between the 1920s and the 1960s, with stylistic influences ranging from Liberty (Art Nouveau) to Art Deco. These sets were not only functional but represented a true status symbol, designed to organize the workspace with precious materials such as leather, wood and chrome-plated metals; furthermore, we have other components, the Stiloforo with Calendar and Figurine. This piece is made with a black glass base, includes a perpetual calendar with chrome rollers and a pen holder. The figurine (a dog, typical of designers like Walter Bosse) and the barrel calendar are classic elements of Liberty style from the 1920s. An elegant organizer for correspondence. This type of design, with soft curves and inserts in contrasting tones, is typical of mid-century desk accessory production, intended to give a classic and orderly touch to the desk. The photos are an integral part of the description. Working perpetual calendar. I assure adequate packing costs for shipment with tracking in a timely manner.
