Hermès Le Songe de Poliphile Silk, a 90 × 90 cm silk carré made in France by Hermès, in new or as new condition.
Description from the seller
The Hermès scarf shown in your photos is Le Songe de Poliphile (translated as "The Dream of Poliphile" or "Poliphile's Dream").
This iconic 90 cm carré (square) silk scarf was designed by Michel Duchêne and first issued in 1998. It features a symmetrical, mandala-like composition with a central circular medallion depicting a dreamlike scene of two figures (dancers or lovers) beneath a tree, surrounded by intricate segmented borders filled with botanical motifs, architectural elements, mythical symbols, and classical references inspired by the Renaissance text Hypnerotomachia Poliphili (The Dream of Poliphilus), a famous illustrated book from 1499.
The vibrant orange colorway with blue, green, pink, and multicolored details— a popular and striking variant of this design, which also exists in other base colors like cream, blue, brown, and red.
