SKE signs the unique 2025 Pop’n Spray – Malabar Spirit, a resin sculpture on a black acrylic stand, edition 1/1 Yellow Blue, 21 cm high, 8 cm wide, 8 cm deep, hand-signed and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
- Unique 1/1 artwork, provided with a certificate of authenticity and signed by the artist SKE.
- Artwork mounted on a glossy black acrylic pedestal, finish of the piece in resin varnish.
- Pop’n Spray – a unique artwork on recycled spray can
The Pop’n Spray series reinvents the cult object of street art: the spray can. Each can is recycled, hand-formed by the artist and signed, to become a rare and exclusive contemporary artwork.
These unique sculptures fuse the raw energy of urban art with the vibrant world of pop culture, transforming a daily object into a true collectible piece.
Each can tells a different story, offering collectors and art enthusiasts an artwork that is aesthetic, committed, and original.
Perfect for a design-inspired decor, a private collection, or an exceptional gift, Pop’n Spray creations stand out as exclusive works of art at the crossroads of street art, pop art, and contemporary sculpture.
SKE pays vibrant homage here to a sugary icon of the 80s/90s: Malabar, a symbol of carefree youth, giant bubbles, and everlasting youth.
On this recycled can, the artist reimagines the blond-haired hero, suspended by candy-pink balloons, in a universe splashed with color and nostalgia.
Each splash of paint tells of a time when everything seemed simpler, more pop, more fun.
Unique piece – handmade by the artist.
A capsule of memories and urban energy, between vintage culture and contemporary street art.
- BIO ARTIST:
SKE is a self-taught French artist and all-rounder who grew up in the culture of the 80s/90s, inspiring many of his artistic works.
He continually explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stenciling, graffiti, urban installations, and digital art. His dynamic, expressive compositions, often with double meanings, blend the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.
After an exceptional 2025, SKE’s market value has seen a notable rise. Winner of the first prize at the Urban Master contest (2023), then named Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE was selected as “Artist of the Month” by the Opulence gallery in October; he also gained a feature in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition.
His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States, and Asia, consolidating his place on the contemporary art scene. In parallel, SKE also makes a mark in the digital artworks market, a major trend of the past two years, reinforcing the appeal of his creations to collectors.
Icons of popular culture, bold graphics, and tactile textures characterize a style that has become indispensable.
SKE is undoubtedly an artist to follow, to start or enrich a collection with growth potential.
Artist with a strong reputation & awards – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art
A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY SKE’s work sits within a prestigious lineage. His lines carry the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversion of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works create a bridge between eras: they revisit classics, not hesitating to reframe Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci, The Youth with a Pearl Earring by Vermeer, The Great Wave by Hokusai, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to confront a modern urban aesthetics close to Mr. Brainwash or Kaws.
POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing from the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons of our childhood. He stages Disney’s universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and Scrooge McDuck’s symbolic greed. The influence of gaming, comics, and graphic novels is omnipresent: from Nintendo’s world and the legendary Game Boy, to Pokemon creatures (Pikachu, Charmeleon, Ash), and the Marvel Super Heroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.
LUXE, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style sometimes reminiscent of Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The Dollar symbol sits beside luxury and fashion logos. His works capture the “Hype” aesthetic: you cross sneakers (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also incorporates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precise watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not forgetting mass consumption icons like Coca-Cola. It is vibrant art, with textured finishes sometimes evoking the glossy finish of Jeff Koons or the facets of Richard Orlinski.
This artwork is ideal for enriching a collection or adding a dynamic touch to your interior.
