The instrument is ready to play with no cracks, new strings, Aubert bridge and good ebony set up. The violin has two pieces back made from beautiful narrow flamed maple. Softly flamed sides, neck and scroll. The table is likewise matching of straight high to medium grained spruce. The purfling has been painstakingly inlaid front and back. Original golden brown varnish over lighter remains in excellent condition.

The whole length of the violin is 59 cm and the back 36 cm.
The width of the upper bouts: 16,6 cm; middle bouts: 11,5 cm; lower bouts: 20,7 cm.
