Menuet d'automne, 1898
Lithograph on wove paper.
Signed on the plate lower left.
L'Estampe Moderne's blind stamp on the bottom right corner.
Dimensions:
+Size of the sheet : 40 x 30 cm / 15,7 x 11,8 in.
+Size of the image : 33 x 24 cm / 13 x 9,4 in.
Condition: In overall good condition with soft handling creases and some minor stains in the margins. Three minor tears on the margin and two visible folds on the lower margin. Image very clean otherwise. Tipped-on paper. Not framed.

Not unlike the Maitres de L'Affiche series, L'Estampe Moderne was a portfolio printed between 1897-99, published by Imprimerie Champenois, Paris, contained 24 monthly portfolios, with four original lithographs in each. Each was commissioned only for this series.
As well as Mucha, some of the contributing artists included Rhead, Meunier, Ibels, Steinlen, Willette and Grasset.
