French Art Deco Pendant Lamp – Signed Rethondes – ca. 1930
Description
Elegant and authentic French Art Deco pendant lamp dating from the early 1930s, signed Rethondes.
The bowl is executed in thick, high-quality marbled glass in warm amber, honey, and golden yellow tones, with subtle orange cloud inclusions. When illuminated, the shade produces a rich sunset-like glow with beautiful depth and atmosphere.
The signature is acid-etched on the side of the bowl.
The lamp retains its original three-chain suspension and decorative canopy. The hardware features period Art Deco rosette mounts. The textile-covered electrical cord is in vintage style.
This model is particularly attractive due to:
• Strong, evenly distributed marbling
• Excellent luminous effect when lit
