Spectacular chess set created to commemorate the surrender of Granada in the year 1491. The pieces represent the Catholic Monarchs and their army against the Muslim King and his army. A rare opportunity to own a chess set that has been discontinued for more than 30 years. The condition is perfect, almost new, except for the acrylic lid, which shows possible scratches or small cracks. The condition of the pieces is new. The sizes of the pieces range from 6.5 cm to 6 cm for the pawns. The approximate weight is 2.5 kilograms. The set comes in a display box measuring approximately 30 cm by 30 cm by 3 cm, made of synthetic material, where the pieces are stored individually in velvet-lined compartments.
