Refined vintage centerpiece in the shape of a basket (navette model), a splendid example of Italian metallurgical craftsmanship from the mid-20th century.
The piece is entirely made of solid copper, worked with a meticulous hand-hammering technique that gives the surface a vibrant, reflective texture.
The design features wavy, undulating edges that lend dynamism to the form.
The item’s greatest artistic merit lies in the side appliqués: two rich grape clusters with grape leaves, finely relief-embossed, functioning as connectors between the basket body and the elegant decorated handle.
