Vide poche - Val Saint Lambert - Romeo

Typical Art Deco coupe, model ‘Romeo’, from the Luxval collection of the Belgian glass- and crystal-factory Val Saint Lambert. Designed by Charles Graffart and Rene Delvenne. This model in semi-crystal pressed glass is finished in a rare champagne color.

This vase is described in the Luxval catalog from 1935 (see illustration).

The vase is in excellent used condition with only normal to minor signs of aging. Small enclosed glass bubbles and glass threads are normal for the production process of the time.

Height is approx. 11 cm, the greatest width is 33.5 cm.
