Two 20th‑century crystal dressing‑table bottles from Baccarat, France, in rose crystal with cylindrical shapes and domed lids.
Description from the seller
Pair of dressing table bottles in rose-colored cut crystal, Baccarat, France, circa 1890 (late 19th century).
Classic Belle Époque design: cylindrical form with a domed lid topped by a spherical cut knob, diamond or deep cross-cut prism-like decoration typical of Baccarat productions of this period, festooned edges and subtle iridescent reflections in the translucent coppery-rose shade (old Baccarat rose).
- The larger one: perfume bottle with spherical stopper – total height approximately 17 cm – maximum diameter 6 cm – weight approximately 500 g
Some nicks/wear (small air bubbles/inclusions from the period) inside the stopper, no external impact.
- The smaller: powder jar with lid – total height 12 cm – maximum diameter 7.5 cm – weight approximately 500 g
A chip on the inner rim of the lid (visible only when opened, not apparent from outside).
Excellent overall condition for pieces over 130 years old: no major chips on visible faces, no cracks, rose colour well preserved with only the minor traces noted (consistent with age and use).
Unsigned (common for Baccarat pieces of this era).
Authentic collectible pieces, carefully preserved.
Provenance: private Belgian collection, carefully preserved for several decades.
Secure shipping.
