LOT OF TWO PIPES
Amorelli pipe, fertility model, 2015 edition. This is an extremely interesting piece with an exceptional level of artisanal detail. It is a high-end pipe from the renowned Italian master craftsman Amorelli.

1. Identification Data
Craftsman: Amorelli (Sicily, Italy).

Model/Series: "Fertility". This series is characterized by the carving of wheat ears, symbolizing abundance and prosperity.

Special Edition: It is marked as "APC - PIPALBA 2013," indicating it was a special edition made for the Alba Pipe Club (APC) in 2015.

Quality Grade: It features the 24-karat gold bar logo embedded between the shank and the bit, which is Amorelli’s hallmark of maximum quality.

2. Aesthetics and Design
Shape: It is a "Poker" with an artist’s touch (freehand). It has a flat base that probably allows it to stand on its own (sitter).

Finish: Combines a deep, rustic carving technique with smooth areas.

Carving: The bowl body and the shank feature an intricate relief of hand-carved wheat ears.

Contrast: The color contrast between the deeper parts of the carving (darker) and the natural wood crests enhances the piece’s volume.

Wood: High-quality Sicilian briar. At the top of the bowl (the rim) and at the base of the shank you can see the wood’s natural grain, which appears to be very fine.

3. Bit and Technical Details
Bit: Shiny black color (likely high-quality acrylic or ebonite), with a perfect fit to the shank.

The Gold Seal: The small 24KT gold plate is not only decorative but serves to align the bit perfectly with the shank, ensuring optimal airflow.

Condition: According to the photos, the bowl looks clean and the upper edge shows no evident charring; the pipe was used on a single occasion, has been very well cared for, clean, and sanitized. The pipe comes from a family legacy.

This is a highly valued collector’s pipe. The combination of being an Amorelli, belonging to the Fertility series, and being a limited edition for a club makes it a conversation piece and a coveted item for any collector of Italian pipes. It measures 14.5 cm in length, the bowl height is 5.5 cm, outer bowl diameter 3.8 cm, inner bowl diameter 2.1 cm, bowl depth 3.8 cm, weight 57 g.

Bent Billiard pipe. Shape: It is a Bent Billiard type (curved billiard). It has a classic cylindrical chamber and a neck that curves upward, which facilitates a comfortable smoke without needing to hold it constantly with the hand.

Material: It is made of briar wood. It shows a smooth, polished finish with a reddish tint that highlights the grain contrast.

Grain: The wood displays a very defined flame grain pattern on the sides of the bowl and neck, while the top edge of the bowl rim shows bird’s eye, indicating good-quality wood.

Design Details
Bit: Deep black color (likely ebonite or acrylic) with a saddle bit design. This design narrows sharply to make it more comfortable to hold with the teeth.

Stem Ring (Férula): Features a very elaborate decorative ring at the neck–bit junction. It is two-toned (silver and gold) with raised engraving that appears to be a braided or Celtic knot motif, adding a touch of distinction and reinforcing the joint.

Bowl Rim Finish: The upper rim is flat and shows the wood’s natural beauty, with no apparent scorching, suggesting it has been well cared for or is new.

Condition and Aesthetics
The pipe has a classic aesthetic with modern, luxurious details. The contrast between the warm red briar, the metallic ring’s shine, and the deep black bit makes it a highly attractive collectible piece.
MEASUREMENTS: length 14.5 cm, bowl height 5.5 cm, outer bowl diameter 4 cm, inner bowl diameter 1.9 cm. It weighs 59 grams. The pipe is impeccable, perfectly preserved, used only once. It has been polished and sanitized. The interior of the shank has been cleaned with isopropyl alcohol, the bowl interior has been cleaned with Nikosolvol, though they were like new, unburnt. The exterior of the bowl has been waxed with odorless white wax.
