A very rare set of 11 fine silver dishes of Finnish design, made in Turku Finland in 1937. These dishes are made of 813/1000 silver with a total weight of 170 gram and have a diameter of 7 cm. Each platter is fully hallmarked with a “heart shaped crown”, “813H” for 813/1000 silver, “H6” for the year 1937, the “A” mark for Turku and a makers mark like “OK or KO”. Over the years, these dishes were sold as brides’ wedding gifts for attendants with the date, name or monogram engraved on the dish (no engravings on these). They were also used as peanut or snack dishes, they are even useful as coasters.
