Misako Street Art presents La débâcle, a 2021 original acrylic painting on canvas mounted on a frame, signed by hand, 45 x 45 cm, France, with a certificate of authenticity from the artist.
Description from the seller
Work mounted on a frame
Mixed media: ink, acrylic paint, graffiti, Posca markers, spray paint, stencil, transfer and drips on canvas. Unique piece sold with a certificate of authenticity.
Misako captures the public's attention by creating playful and colorful visuals that appear naïvely innocent, only to lead them into a new derealizing situation and present the spectator with another possible interpretation of reality, while inviting reflection on the new parallel world that opens up to them. Drawing from pop culture, the world of comics, graphic novels, cinema, or advertising, the artist tells new stories through an ironic practice of appropriation and an investigation into the cultural collective unconscious.
The dynamic and vibrant works by French street artist Misako are eye-catching and relevant to current global movements and events. Her works provoke a strong reaction from viewers, inspired by Pop Art and urban graffiti. Her pieces feature nostalgic and iconic characters, symbols, and subliminal messages.
Using traditional painting and digital artistic techniques, her works are immersive collages rich in texture and layering. Misako's works have been shown in group exhibitions across Europe.
