Handgemaakte massieve houtbak - ca. 1875 - Basket - Copper

Hand-nail hammered solid copper wood bin.
A beautiful piece of craftsmanship.
It is of a heavy, thick quality and weighs well over 5 kg.
The bin stands on three red-copper legs with a distinctive shape.
The handle is made of wrought iron; one of the ends has the tip broken off, see photos 3, 8 and 10.
After 150 years the copper has developed a patina that you can only dream of.
So if you’re really looking for something special to accompany your stove or fireplace, this is for you.
