Description
Elegant rectangular brass box richly decorated with relief engravings depicting exotic scenes and animals in a tropical landscape.
The entire external surface is finely worked with ornamental motifs: palms, botanical elements and various animals including elephant, lion, deer and other exotic creatures, set in an Eastern or colonial-inspired landscape.
The lid features at the center an oval medallion depicting an elephant, surrounded by a complex incised botanical decoration.
