The French Chaland edition C, EO edition, published by Champaka, in French language, by Yves Chaland, in near-new condition, oldest item from 1995, measuring 28 x 29 cm, 1 item, packaged with protection, no dust jacket.
Description from the seller
Champaka Editions has always shown its admiration for Chaland. The “beautiful book” (whose editorial design was undertaken by Isabelle Beaumenay-Joannet, his colorist and wife) modestly titled “Chaland” gathers the best of his illustrative work in advertising, press drawing, album covers, silkscreen prints. Not forgetting numerous personal works. Chaland fans finally have access to material (more than 250 illustrations) that is likely to be seized. Illustration remains the ideal way to reveal Chaland’s personality. A careful and airy showcase highlighted without exceptional works. Jean-Luc Fromental offers an intimate portrait of the artist. At the end of the volume, a detailed biography-chronology (24 illustrated pages) traces the historical trajectory of the father of the French Ligne claire. ( https://www.whakoom.com/ )
