This lot celebrates the peak of Todd McFarlane's career, including the two most important debuts in his editorial history:
Spider-Man #1 (August 1990): The famous "Silver Edition." McFarlane writes and draws a new title dedicated to Spider-Man, breaking every sales record of the era. A book that redefi ned the character's aesthetics with his spaghetti-like webs and extreme dynamic poses.
Spawn #1 (May 1992): The absolute debut of Spawn and the birth of Image Comics. After leaving Marvel, McFarlane creates his most famous antihero, marking the beginning of one of the longest-running and most successful independent series in comic book history.

Edition: Original USA (English language).
Condition: Both issues are in excellent condition (NM - Near Mint). The covers are glossy, without reading marks, with perfectly squared corners. The Spawn #1 cover maintains deep blacks and vivid colors with no trace of fading.
Protection: Both comics are supplied with protective bags and rigid boards (bagged & boarded) to preserve their condition over time.
