Description from the seller

Classic Triumph motorcycle from 1994 currently undergoing restoration, ideal for enthusiasts who value models with character and potential for appreciation in value. It is a major project to leave a spectacular bike, with a solid mechanical base and an aesthetic that, once finished, can position it as an authentic collectible piece.

The bike currently has a fault in the Bendix of the starting system and the speedometer cable needs replacement. Beyond these points, it is in good overall condition for its age, with small cosmetic defects typical of the passage of time.

Bodywork and paint
The bike maintains its original presence and a very attractive profile, perfect for faithful restoration or a customized build.

Paint condition: there are small superficial scratches and light wear marks, with no structural hits or significant dents. No relevant rust is visible on the visible areas.

Chromed parts: generally good, with slight signs of aging normal for a bike over 30 years old, but no worrying corrosion.

Seat: firm and comfortable structure. May show some aesthetic wear, though no immediate intervention is required.

Footpegs and handlebars rubbers: complete and functional, with moderate wear in line with age.

Tank: interior treated against rust and repainting.

Fork seals: in good condition and no leaks observed.

The front fender has a cut. One of the silencers has small denting.

Technical condition
Very interesting mechanical base for someone seeking a project with more enjoyment than complications.

Tires: good tread but very long time unused, replacement would be advisable.

Engine and mechanics: the engine spins correctly, but the Bendix must be repaired or replaced for optimal starting operation. No significant leaks observed.

Clutch and gearbox: functioning properly the last time it was running.

Ride: before the fault, the bike offered stable and pleasant handling, with good response for its category.

Electrical: complete installation; it is worth reviewing the system as part of the restoration process to ensure all lights work perfectly.

Spanish documentation. The ITV is not current.

Chassis and engine numbers available for verification by the buyer.

It is recommended to blur personal data in the images to protect privacy.

Possibility to assist in organizing transport within Europe, easing the process for the buyer.

Project value
This bike represents a fantastic opportunity for anyone who wants to invest in a classic with personality. With relatively modest intervention, it can be transformed into a spectacular motorcycle, perfect for enjoying it on the road as well as for showing off at rallies or private collections.

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
