Unieke Honda Dream vondst: Nog in originele, ongerestaureerde staat. Het eerste Honda-model met bovenliggende nokkenas. Een van de meest zeldzame Honda's.
De Honda Dream ME-250 uit 1957 is een zeldzame, historisch belangrijke motorfiets die een van de laatste eencilinder "Dream"-modellen vertegenwoordigt voordat Honda overstapte op tweecilinder motoren.
Omdat Honda pas in 1958 officieel begon met de export naar de VS, werd dit model uit 1957 nooit officieel buiten Japan verkocht, waardoor het een uitzonderlijk zeldzame vondst is voor verzamelaars.
Deze Dream is nog in 1e lak: Erg zeldzame en historische Honda voor de serieuze verzamelaar of musea.
De Honda is nagenoeg compleet.
Zeldzame originele onderdelen zijn nog goed bewaard gebleven, zie de foto's.
Versnelling werkt.
Het motorblok is vast.
De benzinetank is goed en solide, weinig tot geen roest in de tank.
Het plaatwerk, tank, uitlaten, wielen enz zijn solide, zijn niet doorgeroest.
Contactsleutel is niet aanwezig.
Deze Honda heb ik gekocht op 10-10-2019 uit een Nederlandse verzameling (documenten aanwezig)
Wordt geleverd met factuur met framenummer en motornummer. Verder geen registratiepapieren aanwezig.

Engine: 246cc air-cooled, four-stroke OHC single-cylinder.
Performance: Approximately 13–14 horsepower with a top speed touted at the time near 100 km/h.
Transmission: 4-speed rotary manual gearbox.
Chassis: Pressed-steel backbone frame and swingarm.
Suspension: Leading-link front forks and dual enclosed rear shocks.
Weight: 172 kg
