Heksenketel - Flower pot - Copper

Original witch’s cauldron from the period 1900-1910. In it, water was once boiled on the stove or open fireplace. Perfectly suitable as a flower pot. Or to hang on a hook above your wood stove or fireplace. What stands out are the beautiful hand-forged points on the handle, which are no less than 7 cm long, and the tips are still in perfect condition. Also the pointed connections of the handle to the pot are striking. Those pointed shapes are rarely seen and they testify to fine craftsmanship. The copper has, after 125 years, developed a beautiful patina with traces of water and fire on the underside that have created distinctive color patterns. This is how you want to see a patina. This lot has been carefully cleaned and will be carefully packaged, sent by registered mail and insured (with a Track & Trace code so you can follow the shipment). Pick-up in (Ridderkerk – South Holland) is also possible. I have tasty hand-ground coffee.
