Bonbonnière / uranium glass cookie jar with metal frame – Art Deco – lid – UV fluorescence
Elegant Art Deco candy/bonbonnière composed of a green uranium glass container mounted in a pierced metal framework with side handles and matching lid.
The glass exhibits spectacular green fluorescence under UV light, characteristic of uranium-based glassware produced mainly in the first half of the 20th century.
The perforated metal frame features a geometric repetitive design typical of the Art Deco style, allowing light to pass through and highlight the color of the glass.

Molded mark under the glass (visible on the bottom)
Mark on the metal frame: “EP ON COPPER”
The EP on Copper marking indicates an object electroplated on copper, a technique widely used in the early 20th century for serviceware.
