Elegant Art Deco inkwell produced by Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik (WMF), Germany, circa 1925. Crafted in silver-plated metal, the piece features a graceful curved base with a central relief panel depicting classical cherub figures in high relief. The hinged lid, topped with a geometric Art Deco handle, opens to reveal two concealed inkwells along with a pen nib tray, typical of refined early 20th-century desk accessories.
The design combines flowing lines with decorative classical motifs, reflecting the transition from late Jugendstil influences to the emerging Art Deco aesthetic.
