Description from the seller

Magnificent antique pitcher, made by W. Ridgeway & Son in 1840, features a relief motif beautifully detailed that captures a dynamic equestrian scene.

The pitcher is decorated with depictions of riders in ceremonial dress, highlighting their elaborate attire and the lively movement of the horses as they gallop forward.

The background is decorated with floral motifs and scrolls, enhancing the overall elegance of the pitcher and completing the central scene.
