Five crystal glass paperweights from the Netherlands and Scotland, dating to the second half of the 20th century, weighing over 3.5 kg in total, with varied forms including a pink heart with tiny internal bubbles and a fluorishing jellyfish piece, the largest having a 9 cm diameter and the pink heart 6.5 cm, all in good used condition.
Description from the seller
Five presse-papiers, clear crystal glass,
Netherlands, Scotland, 2e helft 20e eeuw.
The specimen with the pink heart is 6.5 cm in diameter.
Behind the heart is a screen of tiny air bubbles.
Engraved on the bottom: ‘Sweetheart’ Caithness Scotland
and unclear scratched BLoL35 (?)
The largest presse-papier has an internal beautiful ‘spiked glass’ ball
Engraved on the bottom: Ingenieursbureau BCC Leerdam. Diameter 9 cm.
An specimen with large and small air bubbles, diameter 8 cm.
An specimen with more or less equal air bubbles, diameter 7.5 cm.
The specimen with an internal pink jellyfish
is oval, 9 cm high and 6 cm in diameter.
The special thing about this is that the material of the jellyfish is somewhat fluorescent.
When the lighting goes out, the surface of the jellyfish continues to glow.
Together these presse-papiers weigh just over 3.5 kg.
All in good condition.
