Description from the seller
This vibrant contemporary painting captures a dreamlike Mediterranean landscape filled with warmth, rhythm, and color. Rolling hills unfold in flowing curves, painted in luminous tones of red, gold, green, and blue, guiding the viewer’s eye toward a charming hilltop village nestled in the distance. The simplified architecture of the houses and towers creates a harmonious composition, while tall cypress trees rise elegantly among the buildings, adding a sense of vertical balance and tranquility.
A glowing sun hangs in the sky, bathing the landscape in a soft, almost surreal light that enhances the painting’s rich palette. Rounded trees and smooth, sculptural forms give the scenery a poetic and slightly abstract character, transforming the countryside into a joyful visual symphony.
With its bold colors, dynamic shapes, and serene atmosphere, the artwork evokes the timeless beauty of southern European landscapes, celebrating nature, light, and the quiet charm of village life.
