Fascinating advertising poster dedicated to the famous Trappist beer Orval, one of the most prestigious brands in the European monastic brewing tradition. The poster depicts the brand's iconic symbol: the fish rising from the water with the ring in its mouth, the central element of the legend linked to the Orval Abbey.

Note well: This is a later edition, probably from the 1970s.

The graphic composition is extremely elegant and modern: on a dark background the stylized fish figure and the glass emerge, while the large red letters BIER – ORVAL create a strong visual contrast that makes the poster very striking. The graphic style recalls the great tradition of Belgian advertising design of the 20th century, characterized by concise, highly symbolic and immediately recognizable imagery.
