Description from the seller

Raffinata Anfora Impero in Porcellana di Parigi (Vieux Paris), Anse a Cigno e Ritratto Dipinto a Mano - Inizio XIX Secolo
Description Details:
Immerse yourself in the timeless charm of Napoleonic France with this splendid antique porcelain vase from the renowned Paris manufactory. Dating to the Empire or Charles X era (early 1800s), this piece embodies neoclassical elegance and the high craftsmanship of the period.
Unique Features:
Crater/Ambella Design: The elongated, graceful form, known as a "campana-form" or crater, is balanced by a solid square base, entirely finished in fine gold.
Sculpted Swan Handles: The side handles are intricately modeled in the shape of swans, an iconic and symbolic motif very popular during the Empire, adding a touch of majesty and refinement.
Hand-Painted Decoration: The focal point is the central oval panel, where a delicate portrait of a female figure is hand-painted with masterful skill on an elegant blue-gray background. Every detail is crafted to captivate the imagination and tell a story.
Rich Gold Accents: Generous applications of shiny gold adorn the neck, handles, stem, and base, testimony to the quality and luxury of the "Vieux Paris" production.
On the other side of the vase, there is rich gilding and hand-painted decorations depicting a rural or pastoral landscape.
Conditions and Details:
Material: Authentic high-quality porcelain.
Era: Early 19th century (c. 1810-1840).
Conditions: Generally good conservational condition for its age. Any slight signs of time or wear on the gold (as visible in the image) add authenticity and character to the piece, celebrating its history.
Please look closely at all the photos; a shot has been taken from the bottom to certify its age without compromising beauty.
This vase is not just a decorative object, but a piece of French history, perfect for collectors or to add a touch of historic elegance to any home environment.
