Description from the seller

Set of 6 Herend "Apponyi Pink" small plates – Rare Historic Edition "Candida Tupini Roma"
The pieces belong to the iconic Apponyi Pink collection, characterized by the famous stylized floral motif in raspberry color, enhanced by 24-carat gold finishes applied with a brush.
Rarity:
In addition to the official Herend mark, each piece bears on the back the stamp "Candida Tupini - Roma". This detail identifies the dishes as part of an elite supply from the historic Via Condotti boutique, a landmark for Rome's aristocracy and upper-middle class of the twentieth century. The great European manufactories created special supplies for their retailers, who like Tupini often received the absolute "first choice" of production. The back stamp ensures that the piece has been checked not only by the Hungarian manufactory, but also by the experts of the Roman boutique before being put on sale.
