La Veglia Borletti è stata una storica azienda italiana fondata a Milano a fine Ottocento.
Elegant vintage wooden table clock produced by the historic Italian manufacturer Veglia, datable to the mid 20th century (circa 1940–1950).
The clock features a refined polished wooden case with soft and harmonious lines, typical of Italian design of the era. The original dial signed Veglia is easily readable and includes a seconds counter at the top.
The movement is mechanical manual-wind and is functioning. The clock is also equipped with a chime with alarm function, also functioning at the time of sale.
This type of small pendulum clock was very common in European homes of the mid-20th century and is today appreciated both as a vintage decorative object and as a horology collectible piece.
