Rare and unique screen prints from the series “Five Geometric Figures in Five Colors” (1986) by Sol LeWitt. This work is listed in the Sol LeWitt Prints Catalogue Raisonné under reference 1986.06.
It is Plate #01, a geometric circle in pale pink, executed in LeWitt's characteristic minimalist and conceptual style.
The work is bottom-right hand-signed in pencil. This screen print is not numbered, as each print of this series is unique in its color composition and combination.
As described in the Sol LeWitt Prints Catalogue Raisonné: 150 Sets were multicolored. These sets are all unique in their combinations (some sets of five contain more than one form in the same color). None of these sets is numbered, as they are all unique.

The work is professionally framed, floating mounted in a matt and enclosed in a custom-made black wooden frame to measure with UltraVue UV70 museum glass (anti-reflective and UV-protective). Format including frame approx. 54 x 54 cm.
Sol LeWitt (1928–2007) was a major American artist and pioneer of conceptual art and Minimal Art. His work includes wall drawings, geometric sculptures, and serial structures, where idea and concept are central.
