Description from the seller

Exceptional trumpet-shaped liqueur decanter, made of transparent cut glass, Art Nouveau period – circa 1900. Four-legged mount, openwork relief decoration of ribbons and flowers with, at the center of both faces, flowing lines with scrolls inspired by nature and a profile of an Alphonse Mucha nymph adorned with flowing hair and a poppy flower.

Embouchure mount with a large raised spout in the shape of a tongue, decorated with floral motifs and ribbon-shaped ornaments, domed stopper with an ovoid knob, impressed on both sides with floral motifs. Long, curved, pierced handle.

Manufactured by WMF AG Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik Geislingen, Germany for large restaurants, cruise ships, etc.

Punctuation marks: B, WMF ostrich mark, I/O
"B": an alloy containing tin, called Britannia metal.
"I/O" indicates a normal thickness of silver deposited on the surface of the metal, about 1 gram of silver per 1 dm² of surface.

The two-letter inscription "a/s" indicates artificial blackening of the surface toward a color almost black, called "antique silver."
