Charming solid-oak worktable, dating from the early 20th century and made in the spirit of the Arts & Crafts movement.
This piece was intended for needlework, sewing and embroidery, very popular in bourgeois drawing rooms at the turn of the century.
The table stands out for:
- a top that opens and slides to enlarge the work surface
- a robust structure in solid oak
- decorative cutouts typical of late Art Nouveau
