This colorful lithograph titled “Groningen” is a work by Corneille (1922–2010), one of the co-founders of the CoBrA movement (along with Karel Appel and Constant, among others). His work is characterized by vibrant colors, playful shapes, and recurring themes such as birds, women, and exotic landscapes.
This lithograph, printed in 2004, is numbered 64 of 200 copies and is in excellent condition. The piece has never been framed, which makes the colors especially fresh and lively.
