Giennadij Pitsko – a visual artist of Polish origin, born in 1970. In 1991 he graduated from an artistic lyceum in the ceramics department. Since 1991 he has been involved in painting and ceramics. From 1992 he has been engaged in various artistic projects. His works are extremely colorful stories about what surrounds him. Giennadij Pitsko's dynamic painting is distinguished by warm, lively, and saturated colors, an atmosphere of fantasy and the spectacularity of female figures, as well as the ability to manipulate the texture of paint applied with a spatula on canvas. The artist uses a brush and a spatula. Pitsko's painting is highly recognizable thanks to a particular color palette, reflecting fascination with French artists such as Claude Monet and Amadeo Modigliani. Twenty years ago in Sopot he saw an exhibition by Jerzy Dudy-Gracz and from the first glance fell in love with creating with spatulas. Since then he has consistently worked in this technique. He also rejected the traditional way of depicting figures, instead drawing on the experiences of contemporary painters. Giennadij Pitsko's works are in the collections of both institutions and private collectors, as well as in other European countries and outside Europe. The artist has participated in many national and international exhibitions and plein air gatherings, both solo and group. He currently lives and works in Rumia.
A certificate of authenticity from the author is attached to the canvas.
