Valentina Albanese’s 2015 original mixed media artwork Love, 60 × 80 cm, hand-signed and featuring multicolour with white and black, portrays plants and flowers using acrylic and charcoal.

She was born in Vimercate (MB) in 1983. She attended the Art Institute of Monza and earned a degree in Cultural Heritage Studies at the University of Milan. She holds a diploma from the Lyceum School in Milan and now directs Experiential Artistic Labs for children and adults with her Association; she works in museum education in Vimercate and is an Art Teacher at a kindergarten. Art, therefore, is an important part of her life.
A versatile, multi-faceted artist, she loves to experiment, moving from traditional techniques to digital illustration, from photography to performances.
Since 2015 she has organized solo exhibitions in the Brianza area and exhibits, together with other artists, for “Mostrami Factory @Folli50.0” – the show “Nutrimento Urbano” organized during the Milan Fuorisalone.
In September 2021 she participated with a performance “Senza fiato” (which is part of her Body Colors Project, photos and performances exploring the body and color) during the exhibition “Think Green” at the Environment House in Turin.
In March 2022 she exhibited in the group show “vis-à-vis” Portraits between fiction and reality, curated by Margaret Sgarra, at the Ossimoro Gallery in Turin, with her collages that are part of the Art’sEYES Project.
