Beautiful 15.6 gram slice of the Tirhert meteorite, a rare unbrecciated Eucrite from a witnessed fall in Morocco. This specimen shows the fine-grained light interior typical of Tirhert, with an observable glossy black fusion crust still visible around the rim of the slice. (see last image) Tirhert is especially appreciated by collectors for its attractive appearance, strong provenance, and small total known weight, estimated at only about 8–10 kg.
