Description from the seller

For sale is a rare vintage mandolin for enthusiasts and players.
I have partially clarified the provenance directly with Mr. Klaus Götz (C.A. Götz jr. company): Between 1975 and 1995 Götz had these instruments manufactured at the highly regarded Suzuki Violins Workshop in Nagoya, Japan, and distributed them under the trade mark "Cortez". According to Mr. Götz, this model 250 is very likely the top model of the series at the time.
Details & Sound:
• Body: Elaborately crafted bowlback (spankorpus) with top-class Japanese craftsmanship.
• Appearance: Fine spruce top, distinctive pickguard in tortoise look, and beautiful wood inlays.
• Sound: Full, assertive, and bell-clear – truly a genuine Japanese top model.
Condition:
• Very well maintained and ready to play. The neck is straight, the string height is comfortable (see photos). Age-related signs of wear are present, but no cracks or splits in the wood.
Included accessories: The original "Nagoya Suzuki" case.
Note on the case: The back side has a crack in the cover material (see last photo), but the protective function and latches are flawless.
Images are part of the item description.
Shipping & Pickup:
Insured shipping (DHL) well-padded or gladly pickup and try-out on site!
(Private sale: The sale is made without any guarantee or liability for defects. No returns or warranty.)
