Censer - Bronze - Chinese bronze censer

Chinese bronze censer with two stylized lion handles and three feet, richly decorated with archaistic taotie-style motifs around the rim. The form and decoration are inspired by ancient ritual bronzes, a style that remained highly popular in later periods.

The censer has a beautiful aged patina with warm brown and green tones, showing natural wear and surface variation consistent with age. The sculptural handles in the form of mythical creatures add a dynamic and expressive element to the piece.

Condition: overall in good condition with visible age-related wear, surface marks and patina. Some casting irregularities and minor losses consistent with use and age. No major structural damage.
