Spider-Man #1 (August 1990): The famous "Silver Edition." McFarlane writes and draws a new Spider-Man title, breaking every sales record of the era. A comic that redefined the character's aesthetic with his "spaghetti" webs and extreme dynamic poses.
Spawn #1 (May 1992): The absolute debut of Spawn and the birth of Image Comics. After leaving Marvel, McFarlane creates his most famous anti-hero, signaling the start of one of the longest-running and most successful independent series in comic book history.
